Preview: The Devil Inside

Survival horror meets reality television in The Devil Inside, a third person 3D action game that you may not want to play alone. You take on the role of Dave Ackland, an ex-cop turned journalist, who conducts paranormal investigations live on his own television program. Armed with a variety of weapons (from assault rifles to flame-throwers) and the ability to transform into a spell-casting, leather-clad, female demon, Dave enters a mysterious mansion on Halloween night with a cameraman in tow. Once there, he fights his way through hordes of the living dead while being cheered on by a live studio audience and the show's host, Jack T. Ripper. With nearly 100 areas to explore and over 40 different types of enemies, The Devil Inside should provide plenty of ghoulish action when it conjures its way into stores in October.-- Brian Wright / GamePro
