Preview: Comanche Hokum


Empire Interactive is preparing Comanche Hokum, the sequel to its popular helicopter combat simulation, Apache Havoc. Comanche Hokum will give players the chance to pilot the US Army's RAH-66 Comanche and the Russian-built Ka-52 Hokum-B in combat missions, ranging from early morning escorts to late night assaults, in Taiwan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. While the game will be a completely realistic helicopter simulation, novice players will be able to adjust the difficulty for a more arcade-like experience. Additionally, Comanche Hokum will be compatible with Apache Havoc, so owners of the original will be able to import the AH-64D Apache and Mil-28-N Havoc B into the new game. Gunship enthusiasts will want to check out Comanche Hokum when it thunders into stores in Fall 2000.-- Brian Wright / GamePro
