Painkiller: Resurrection for PC is a first-person shooter by JoWood Productions. This sequel promises to take players back to hell in the shoes of ex-CIA agent William "Wild Bill" Sherman. After Bill is fatally wounded he awakens to find himself trapped in Purgatory, a nether realm between Heaven and Hell. With an arsenal of otherworldly weaponry (including old favorites and fresh additions) Williams must battle his way through the hordes of Hell in either single or multiplayer co-op, or take his fight online with fresh array of multiplayer maps and modes as he strives to be last soul standing. -- GamePro
