Preview: Submarine Titans

Strategy First is preparing a real time strategy game with a twist - underwater warfare. Submarine Titans takes place in the 22nd century, after a comet has struck the earth, forcing humans to live underwater. Two factions, the White Sharks and the Black Octopi, rise up and begin the war for domination of the ocean. Meanwhile, sea-dwelling aliens make an appearance and jump into the fray. Each of the 3 civilizations will have unique ships, buildings, and technology trees, which will include 40 upgrades for the 72 different structures. The 3D terrain will feature caves and tunnels, and the interface will allow players to zoom in and out, and rotate the map. We'll find out if Submarine Titans will sink or swim when it floats into stores this summer.-- Brian Wright / GamePro
